The early morning sun had crept slowly over a skyscraper, the night seemed to be slipping away in grace as the cold stare of dawn began approaching. Standing on the corner of the building his cloak fluttered in the wind, as if he were a super hero standing guard. Of course in some sense he was, he was a guardian of his kind. One of the first were cats ever made, along with his siblings. Rayna in particular he has been keeping in contact with, though he hasn't heard from anyone else in a while. He knew his mission today, along with the other two in the group was direly important to the welfare of the were cats survival. Keeping this in mind he was once again reminded of the two scars that were lain upon his face when he was younger, two scars that both anger him and remind him just what he was needing to do.
"MAMA! MAMA!" A small girl screamed in the middle of the streets, her screams echo around the buildings. The cars honking drown out her loudest cry, he was younger. Deonte, the Tsar had betrayed them, and insulted his pride by sending amateurs after him. The police were closing in on the girl as she watched them shoot her mother through the back, the bullet went through her chest as a surprised look took her over. Sirens blared as he ran, straight for the small girl. Like a blur he snatched her out of the policemen grasp holding her tight, she stank like urin. It was obvious she was scared, normal people would be. But this girl was not normal, she was just like him. And the government found her and her mother. Rayna wasn't far behind as he ran, he knew that. She hadn't been caught again, she was a smart girl. Deonte prided himself on how his sister handled herself, he would protect her. The girl stopped crying and began sobbing so hard she was vibrating with fear, with a sigh Deonte clambered into his house. Setting the girl down he wiped away her tears. "It will be alright now, you are safe. Stay with us and you have a fighting chance, the outside world wants nothing more than to destroy us." He watched as the little girl nodded, standing up she gave him a whimpering hug.
A small smile tugged at his features as he reminisced over that small tid bit, his and Rayna's first girl ever saved from the government. Golden eyes surveyed the land quickly once more before he turned to the stairs and ran down them, the loud thudding sound of his feet barely touching the steps was actually quite silent. At least to human ears, slowing down he walked out the front door of the Ritz Hotel. He was meeting the other two in the side alley of a pizza shop, he knew he had to be quick. People were bound to notice them wandering around and call the police he wants the mission to go by as smoothly as possible so that they could get home. But the day was still young, for now he could explore. They agreed to meet up that night, and he wouldn't let them down. He wandered around the area for a while, window shopping at a many of the stores. One in particular looked interesting however he knew to stay away from the more interesting ones, as they were the ones his kind got caught in more than once. With a sigh he pushed on, eating a few bites of food when he noticed it was starting to get dark. With that he turned around and walked to The Tomato Pizza palace and hid in the ally waiting for the other two to show up.

I read a small letter sent in the mail from an unknown recipient. It spoke of a mission, and highly prioritized documents hidden away deep within the governments grasp. It had only been a few nights since I had join the battalion of my new Queen, Rayna a fierce, but some how gentle warrior. No missions had yet come my way, but this one was to be set right here, sitting in my backyard. As I read I let out a long hard sigh. I would be working with two others, when I was so used to working alone.
"This is going to be interesting. I sighed as I threw on a pair of black pants and a black shirt. I ran my fingers threw my hair as i motioned myself to get out of this cursed condo and help my fellow comrades. Comrades, now that had sent a chill down my spine as I shook my head and began to the strange alley way. It had taken me almost an hour to hit the spot that I had been searching for. Oddly enough, though I had lived in New York for so long, I had never heard of this meeting place. A pizza parlor named 'The Tomato Pizza Palace.' I sunk into the tiny space of the dark alley way and watched silently, a man who must have been there for the same reason as I. I hid myself away in the shadows, not wanting to converse until the other one was here.
I had become more aware of myself when I joined up with Rayna in Russia. She hadn't liked the thick Russian accent I bore, probably because she had thought that I had stayed there. A small kitten running around Russia was her exact thoughts, I could tell. Though i had not been around as long as she had been at that moment, I knew I had been through as much misery as the others, just by looking at her malicious, yet beautiful face. She was a strange one, but aren't we all?
